The story of Gibsons is fantastic:

The forerunner to Gibsons Games jigsaw puzzles was started in 1903 by Harry Gibson. The company originally supplied card games and postcards from its Aldergate Street, London location.

The site was destroyed in the 1940 London blitz. Harry’s sons Robert and Harry jnr rebuilt the business after World War 2, selling family games and pastimes.

However in late 1980 Gibsons Games joined the illustrious ranks as a quality jigsaw puzzle manufacturer. They now have over 100 titles.

Importantly they use deluxe materials in keeping with a quality company.

They use traditional scenes, including paintings by British artists, Mike Jupp, Kevin Walsh and Garry Cartwright.
